HOUSE NOLDIN

The youth hostel Dr. Josef Noldin lies in the town centre of Salurn and is a comfortable hostel as well as an up-to-date place for events. It is particularly suitable for big groups, school classes, seminars, conferences and courses, but at the same time even for families, cyclists, people who like trekking and other travellers.
What is more, the part of the house under preservation order has been connected with the added lift through the added bright staircase during the rebuilding in the year 2001, making it accessible for disabled people.
Only few minutes on foot from the Noldin House away lies the National Park Trudner Horn, which has a variety of trekking possibilities,

walks and cycling tours in store for you.

The town Salurn, lying on one of the most important transit routs of ancient and modern Europe, has been provable inhabited since the Bronze Age. Roman legionaries and traders of the Middle Ages stopped for rest at Salurn. And even today Salurn is the destination of many cyclists who cycle on the "Etsch cycling path" (Reschen Pass to Verona).

The chasm of Salurn, where the narrowing of the Etsch Valley is impressible, constitutes the geographic gate to the South. The Hader Castle, situated on steep rocks, watches over this defile and also over the German-Italian language border.
